aging process

Periwinkles all sitting in a row
silently waiting for the ocean to come
after reaping what the tidal waters did sow
and yet they will never know
if it would be for the last time

Ehhh, I suck at poetry. But I still love the shot though. The periwinkles did a nice job posing for me, although they probably weren't happy about it.

I can't remember where this was taken, it was at a small beach somewhere, so I'm just going to say Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA
